Mindful Activity | For Letting Gratitude Flow

Friday is World Gratitude Day and to help each of us tap into that grateful space, I am sharing one of my favorite activities. You'll only need about 15 minutes for this one! Get out your colored pencils, pens, and/or crayons and a piece or two of blank paper. I find that some music always helps me get in the flow. Here's some guidance on how to begin:

1.) Sit with hands on the heart and take some breaths, feeling and allowing the breath to move in and out through the heart center.

2.) Allowing all your gratitude to move through you filling you up with its essence

3.) When you feel full, take the next 10 minutes and draw a picture from your heart of gratitude.

4. ) Allow all your grateful feelings to come out on paper. Do not worry about artistic ability just let the feelings flow through your hands.

5.) When you are done, close your eye and take another set of deep slow breaths before you re-enter your world.
